As the day leaned into its final light, the drift showcase settled into the moment everyone waits for.
Anyone who has spent time around these events knows the pattern. Early runs warm up the crowd, but the real show begins when the sun starts to drop. Then Prateek Dalal, F10Dalal to most of the crowd, rolled onto the strip. The car snapped straight into donuts, rear tyres screaming as smoke quickly began to swallow the machine. One circle turned into another, revs bouncing, the crowd edging closer, phones up, cheers rising with every rotation.
By now the rhythm was familiar. The smell of rubber in the air, the engine echoing across the venue, and a driver who clearly wasn’t planning to end the day quietly. As the golden sky settled over the strip, Dalal pushed just a little further, turning the final minutes into exactly the kind of ending the crowd had been waiting for.
