The Story
Eternal Combustion
The GS400 came in sideways. The smoke built around the car the way it does when a driver isn't in a hurry to stop. Thick, deliberate, swallowing the rear end first. And then the exhaust did what big displacement engines do when they're pushed past the point of composure. The backfire bloomed into a full fireball inside the cloud. Orange, immediate, gone before the frame finished.
The anime livery wrapping the door panels, characters in full detail, built for exactly this kind of scene made the whole thing feel less like a showcase run and more like something that had always existed and was only now being photographed.
No engineer drew this. No script called for it. The engine simply decided to make itself visible.
That is what internal combustion looks like.
