The Story
Culture Keepers
Before the crowd came in, before the smoke and the backfires and the wheelies, there was this.
A warehouse in Guwahati. Machines from across the full range of Indian car culture — a Ford Mustang GT350, a Jaguar F-Type, a Supra in Castrol colours, drift cars in full livery, a Bentley that had no business being in the same room and absolutely belonged there. An Audi RS at the centre, police lights still running, holding the frame together. Two words on the floor between them: Culture Keepers.
Underground has always been more than an event. Since the start, the premise has remained the same. Bring the people who actually live this together, give them a space, and see what gathers. What gathers is never accidental. It is people who chose this. People who keep showing up. People who measure belonging not in words but in what they built, modified, drove through the night to get here.
The cars in this frame come from different worlds. Different budgets, different builds, different scenes across India. What they share is the person behind the wheel.
That is what a culture keeper looks like.
